UniFi Network Installation

Professional UniFi Installation From Planning to Handoff

A dependable UniFi network is more than mounting access points. We design the complete path from your internet connection to the devices your home or business depends on, including routing, switching, PoE, cabling, wireless coverage, VLANs, cameras, access control and remote management.

What We Install and Configure

  • UniFi Cloud Gateways and routing
  • UniFi switches and PoE planning
  • Indoor and outdoor access points
  • Guest, staff and IoT networks
  • VLANs and network segmentation
  • Site-to-site and remote-access VPNs
  • UniFi Protect cameras and recording systems
  • UniFi Access devices and network connectivity
  • Cat6, Cat6A and fiber infrastructure
  • Network racks, patch panels and UPS planning

New Installations, Upgrades and Migrations

We support new construction, renovations, replacement of aging network equipment, Wi-Fi coverage improvements and migrations from consumer routers or other business platforms. Existing cabling and network equipment can be assessed before recommending replacements.

Residential Network Installation

Home networks can be designed for work-from-home reliability, streaming, smart devices, cameras, outdoor areas, detached buildings and high device counts. Where possible, wired access points are preferred over wireless mesh links for predictable performance.

Commercial Network Installation

Business networks are planned around uptime, security, device separation, capacity and serviceability. Staff, guest, camera, POS and operational devices can be separated with VLANs and firewall policies so a problem in one part of the network does not affect everything else.

Our Installation Process

  1. Discovery: understand the building, users, internet service, devices and goals.
  2. Design: select equipment, cabling paths, AP locations and network structure.
  3. Installation: install, label and connect network equipment and cabling.
  4. Configuration: build networks, VLANs, security policies and remote management.
  5. Testing: verify connectivity, performance, device adoption and critical services.
  6. Handoff: document the deployment and explain the ongoing support plan.

Where We Work

On-site UniFi installation is available throughout Virginia and North Carolina, including the Outer Banks. For existing UniFi systems, remote support is available nationwide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to purchase the UniFi equipment first?

No. We can review the project and recommend the appropriate gateway, switches, access points and supporting hardware before equipment is purchased.

Can you work with an existing UniFi system?

Yes. Existing systems can be expanded, reorganized, migrated or troubleshot without replacing equipment that is still appropriate for the project.

Do you install cabling too?

Yes. Structured cabling services include Cat6, Cat6A, fiber, patch panels, racks, labeling and testing.
