Cabling for a new location or an existing building
A new office, restaurant, store or lodging property needs cable routes planned before equipment is installed. An existing site may need additional drops, a reorganized rack or investigation of unreliable links. Send the location, intended device positions and any plans or drawings you already have.

What affects the estimate?
The number of drops is only part of the scope. Cable length, ceiling access, finished walls, conduit, working height, building occupancy and access hours affect the installation. A short run through a difficult finished space can take more work than a longer run through an accessible pathway.
Tell us about lift requirements, restricted areas, existing pathways and any construction schedule. Equipment, patching, testing requirements and work outside the agreed scope should be identified in the proposal.
Cat6, Cat6A or fiber?
Select the medium around the distance, required link speed, environment and future needs. Reusing a suitable cable path may change the practical choice. For separate buildings, fiber can provide electrical isolation as well as capacity; the route and installation conditions still need review.

Labeling and handoff
Agree how outlets, patch-panel ports and device locations will be named. Useful handoff information includes the drop schedule, labels, test results required by the scope, and any inaccessible or unused routes. This makes later changes easier to trace.

Can you install cabling without replacing the whole network?
Yes. Describe the existing equipment and the new connections you need so the scope can focus on the relevant work.
Does every project need a site visit?
Plans and photos can help with an initial review. Pathways and installation constraints may require an on-site assessment before a reliable final scope is agreed.
Are network switches and access points included?
Only when listed in the proposal. We can discuss a cabling-only scope or a complete network installation.
