Network administration should use unique accounts, multifactor authentication, secure remote access, and business-controlled ownership. Vendor access should be limited and reviewed. Guest users should never reach equipment-management interfaces.

Plan maintenance around occupancy

Updates, channel changes, switch replacement, and cable work should be scheduled to reduce guest impact. Keep backups, spare critical hardware, documentation, and a clear escalation process for after-hours outages.
